Finished 6-3 Townrow with last goal.

I was extremely pleased with the discipline shown by the players in the face of extreme provocation. On a night with hundreds of children in paying their respects to Emma Holloway this proved what a great and respectful club we are.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said for our visitors and I personally can only apologise for anything heard/seen that should not have been. Fruitful language is a part of football at this level but some of the behaviour of Maldon went well beyond this and set a very poor example. I hope they reflect on this in the cold light of day and will feel disappointed with themselves. The dressing room will take a lot of cleaning!!

Totaly agree with Admin.

Was great to see the character of the team in keep coming back from a goal down before Rhys put on the Darg experience for the whole club to see.

The behaviour of Maldon ON and OFF the pitch was disgraceful. You will never achieve RESPECT in football while there are neanderthals like them in the game.

Was very pleased we rose above it and didn't react but instead went on to win the game well in the end, a fitting tribute to Emma Holloway and the way she played her football and lifted her teammates in the hour of need.

Steve.

Great performance by the guys, well done Sudbury. Brilliant passing football, creating some good chances up front. Excellent commitment from all of the team, good determination to be able to lift their heads when behind and, as Steve said, a fitting tribute.
