The under 14's started this game looking to build on there good performance on Sunday at Boxford. The under 14's started the game brightly keeping the ball and moving it well in the opening few minutes, Gavin Chinnery and Sam Bayliss linked up well in the opening period but the attack were well dealt with by the under 15's defence.
The under 14's started their pre season with a good win away at Boxford on Sunday. The pitch at Homefields was in good condition and Sudbury raced into a 4 goal lead with two strikes from forward Charlie Poole, a well worked corner routine gave AFC their third when Tom Wingfield headed in a Harry Liskus corner.
Under 14s First Season

The under 14s who were a newly formed team have finished a very creditable 5th in the D League. The position might have been higher had it not been for three teams leaving, which cost the side 9 points and 18 goals. Great credit has to go to the management team of Scott Payne and Ben Davies, who have always steered the lads to play the game in the right spirit. Well done to the team and good luck for the new season.
